Dr Raymond Yap is a consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon with an appointment at Cabrini Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Raymond specialises in the care of colorectal diseases such as colorectal cancer, hemorrhoids, fistulas, rectal prolapse and advanced endoscopy. He received training in the management of hernias including minimally invasive techniques. In addition to his Australian training, he completed advanced training in robotic and transanal techniques (including ta-TME) in the USA. He has conducted numerous studies into colorectal cancer outcomes and surgical education, with a multitude of publications and book chapters.
